Mark Coorey has trained under Sifu Ian Protheroe for over 14 years. During this time, the two have developed a close friendship and Mark currently hosts and maintains this website.

Sifu Ian Protheroe and the Queensland Wing Chun Kung Fu Academy operate out of one of Mark Coorey's Active Life Fitness properties.
